First of all, we discuss the product. We select the design, the texture, the functionality, and come up with a design that is unique and tailored to your needs. Communication is key here- I am open to any suggestions (let your imagination go wild!), but I am also able to make recommendations based on your taste and budget (but please take into consideration that, when ordering something bespoke, after a certain point some changes can not be made).
Next, I get to work. I will first make a drawing and a pattern for you to inspect and make sure that what you imagine is what you will receive. I then start cutting, skiving, glueing, stitching (all with old-school tools and my two hands only).
Depending on how many orders I have, how complex the project is and how busy I am, the waiting time can vary from a couple of days to a couple of months. If you have a special deadline (birthday etc), let me know in advance.
I have a wide selection of vegetable-tanned, chrome-tanned, colourful or textured leathers, exotics included. Whatever isn’t in stock can be brought upon demand. Therefore, it’s important for me to know your tastes and style. Before selecting the leather, I’ll send you photos and videos to choose from (if you’re too far away from my workshop in Timisoara).
After it is finished, the product is carefully packaged and sent to you along with a lifetime warranty.
